Codem Inc. and its affiliates, including Codem Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) (collectively, "Codem," "we," "us," or "our"), respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through codem.com and related domains (the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the general choices available to you.

References to "Codem" include both entities and their affiliated offices in Chennai and Tirunelveli, India, which support Codem's global operations.
2. Personal Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
When you fill out a contact or lead form, request a consultation, subscribe to updates, apply for a job, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect:
- Identifiers: name, business email address, phone number, job title, company name
- Content of your inquiry or message, including any files or details you choose to share
- If you apply for a role with us: resume/CV, work history, and other application materials you submit
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you browse the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect:
- Device and browser information (IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers)
- Usage data (pages visited, referring/exit pages, time on page, links clicked, approximate location derived from IP address)
- Cookie and similar tracking identifiers, as described in Section 4 (Cookies)
2.3 Information from third parties
We may receive limited information about you from business partners, publicly available sources, or professional networking platforms (for example, if you engage with us through LinkedIn) in connection with a business relationship or inquiry.
We do not knowingly collect payment card data, government ID numbers, health information, or other sensitive categories of data through the Site. The Site is a corporate marketing and lead-generation site; it is not a consumer storefront.
3. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries, provide requested information, and manage the sales/consultation process
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
- Understand aggregate Site usage and traffic trends through analytics
- Send you requested updates or marketing communications, where permitted, with an opt-out in every message
- Evaluate job applications, if you apply to work with us
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and protect the rights, property, and safety of Codem, our users, and others
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site uses a cookie consent tool that lets visitors accept or decline cookies by category:
- Functional (always active) — required for core Site features to work
- Preferences — remember choices such as language or region
- Statistics — analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) that help us understand how visitors use the Site
- Marketing — used only if Codem enables marketing/advertising cookies in the future; these are off by default and require your consent
The Site also uses Google Tag Manager to deploy these tools and the Google Maps API to display office locations; use of Google Maps is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time using the "Manage Consent" control on the Site, or through your browser settings.
We currently do not use cookies or pixels for cross-site behavioural advertising. If that changes, we will update this Policy and the applicable regional supplement.
5. How We Share Personal Information
Codem does not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. We may share personal information with:
- Service providers/processors who perform services on our behalf (e.g., website hosting, analytics, email/CRM tools, IT support), under contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations
- Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants, auditors) as needed
- Successors in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections
- Authorities or third parties where disclosure is required by law, legal process, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Codem or others
6. International Data Transfers
Codem operates from the United States, Singapore, and India, and personal information may be accessed from or transferred between these locations, as well as to service providers located elsewhere, in order to operate the Site and our business globally. 7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including to respond to your inquiry, maintain our business relationship, comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. When personal information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
8. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted transport (TLS/HTTPS) for data submitted through the Site and restricted internal access to authorized personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is a business-to-business marketing site directed at professional audiences and is not intended for, or knowingly directed to, children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites, including customer and partner sites. This Policy does not apply to those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.
11. Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have specific legal rights over your personal information (such as rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, or objection). These rights, and how to exercise them, are set out in the regional supplement that applies to you (EU, UK, or U.S.). If no regional supplement applies to you, you may still contact us at any time using the details in Section 13 and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will post the revised Policy on this page with an updated effective date, and, where changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by law.
